On the 15th of September 2007, news of a miracle reached the nobles of Perdan. Sir Nathanial Cadogan (Knight of Krimml), whom was declared dead by the healer and about to be prepared for funeral in the mortuary, suddenly woke up in front of all witnesses' eyes as if nothing has ever happened, barring only a few rapidly healing wounds.

Further rumours surfaced on Nathanial Cadogan, his reasoning for the miracle and his purpose for the world. As the Church is devoted to the discovery of information and the revelation of truth on the 16th of September 2007, an official investigation into Nathanial Cadogan, the Prophet of Ishmael was launched. Herein lies the findings and conclusion of this investigation.

You were bleeding, losing sight and consciousness, when faint litanies began to ring above your head, from somewhere up in the air. :You couldn't make anything intelligible out of the chants, but you did feel surprisingly soothed. When you wake up, the healer :informs you about your incredible recovering rate, and is perplexed by what you claim to have heard of.

He thinks himself a god reborn or something... he is blackmailing Fontan and he is hoping to attack Perdan. He has to live through :another duel first...

I call upon the gods to protect me against my duel against Charax, if I am granted victory once more I will take it as a sign that I am leader of the East Continent. Lilith you must appoint me as leader in 24 hours.

I ride not to Perdan for victory you fools, but FOR death as that is where I shall be most powerful. Perdan and the southern realms will hear what they want to hear from Fontan, and that is that they are making up lies for their own benefit. I shall not sleep tonight, I have four and three quarter hours till my duel. Once that is over I WILL start chaos, bedlam and pillaging in the name of the chazm of Nathanial.

Governments will fall and anarchies shall reign this waste land. There has been peace for too long, and out of the ashes shall be born a world in which is dominated by one god.

I shall remember those with me at the beginning more than ever.

Sir Nathanial Cadogan (Knight of Krimml) meets his challenger Charax Gonatas (Knight of Westmoor) for the agreed duel till death.

Both participants are using the 'defensive' strategy, so that neither has an advantage.

The duel goes as planned, then badly for Nathanial. He suffers several slight wounds, then a final, fatal blow. The healers hurry, :but they are too late.

Nobles of Fontan.

I greet you as a prophet of Ishmael. I now cannot be killed my any mortal man. My miracles have been granted by the Gods to prolong my life, Ishmael has but one desire to control this earth and everything in it. You must join me now or witness death at the chazms of Nathanial where my enemies are kept for eternity.

I have had several nobles come to me in search of questions wanting to join me on my quest. Before chaos is unleashed I need more followers, for then we shall march into Perdanese lands acting as an invasion force! Our government seeks to kill me but only because they recognise I have the power to usurpe them!

The more nobles that follow me into Perdan, set your settings to murderous, if you are cleansed and clear in your soul Ishmael will protect you like he has done me. Chaos will ensue and I will become leader of Fontan, then the continent. Those with me now will become my highest confederates once the East continent is mine. This plan is fool proof, how will the government cover up an invasion force into Perdan of more than one noble? They cannot I answer you that.

Letter from Nathanial (5 minutes ago)

Greetings Balkeese,

another attack was imminent so I had to finish the letter abruptly. Although I am immortal, my wounds are very real, and I have had many attacks done on my while in Fontanese lands. I am currrently in the region of Kazan evading combat for aslong as possible. However it is 30 hours till Stora and I already see Fontanese troops entering Kazan, they have finally caught up to me. I fear this may be my last letter so I shall tell you everything I know.

I am a prophet for the God Ishmael. I cannot be killed by any mortal man. Twice now I have been stabbed apparently to death and made a perfect recovery, a miracle they say. After my duel with Fiendish, in which I fought long and hard I believed I would be killed, he overpowered me and I witnessed his sword enter my chest, I then collapsed believing I was done.

As I lay there for what felt like eternity the world flashed before me, I saw my life appear before me, I saw my father teach me how to joust, I saw my maths lessons with my nurse...in a second I saw my birth. Then I saw him, Ishmael he spoke his name, a man encased in fire he spoke to me explaining that he was my creator and he had sent me to this earth to do his bidding.

I could not speak but he informed me of what my mission I must complete, that I must destory the East continent and enslave it in the name of him. He told me how and that while I carried out his bidding I would have his protection. When I awoke from my second, apparent death I found I have been confronted with him once more. He explains more this time explaining that he named me after the chazm of Nathanial, I witnessed this chazm a thousand charcoaled bodies in a mighty chazm as far as the eye can see. This is where he places his enemies, you must understand that I flew over the chazm with him, he had powers that no mere mortal would understand.

Whether this counts as proof to your queen I am not sure. Ishmael despises the God Penshi, who is actually his daughter, they are in constant battle in the universe fighting for will power. Ishmael believes that Penshi has possessed the government at Fontan controlling them to do her bidding, which is why he sent me and this explains why I have been banished.

Perhaps this seems to much to take in but I have lived in Fontan, the mood there is war mongering, many were willing to go to war when the infiltrator renquest was captured. The time of peace is over, you must understand that Ishmael will stop at nothing in his effort to stop Penshi, if that means casting the East continent in a pile of ash and sinew then so be it.

My life is bound to Ishmael now, he has brought me from death twice now, if I am to ignore him he will kill me with the flick of a wrist.

Sir Nathanial Cadogan (Noble)

Family History

The Cadogan family is a wealthy, well known aristocratic dynasty founded in the dales of Eston. They are well known for their historic past concerning dignity and prudence to fellow family members. However because of this the fundamentals of the Cadogan family is much more important than the well being of family members. Elders of the family concern themselves with ensuring the blood line remains pure with proper stock. Currently there are four family members serving their hereditary positions for the Cadogan family.

Edward James, son to William of Cadogan.

Philip James, his twin brother.

Turok Cadogan, exiled from the Cadogan family, he is a renegade nephew to William of Cadogan and son to Alexander.

Nathanial Cadogan, a bastard son of Alexander Cadogan therefore half brother to Turok. His existence is unknown to most members of the family.
