Here comes Carelia Where do I even begin, so much has happened while i have been away on vacation. I was planning on catching everyone up on what has happened in Carelia as a "Special Edition" however i find myself bored silly of writing about the last month or so since it was such a boring month to be a Carelian. Once our beloved King Kronos mysteriously lost his title, things went dead and took quite a lull in Carelia. I personally dont blame anyone i am simply stating for those know our King, either hate him or love him. there is no in-between. Rumors of his days being numbered are starting to tumble around. Frankly i oppose him stepping down "to give someone else a chance" if he does bad, we should depose him, with force if necessary. However, if he does good, then why replace him? he has grown Carelia and Crushed our enemies, now is not the time for him to start bowing to the "will of the people" he is king, and as such should rule, we are not nor shall we ever be a democracy. there are too many wanting power in our great nation, while they may even do a good job, there is more to being a great Carelian leader than not losing territories or hurting our economy. What many fail to see in Atamara that it isnt the wealth of the land that makes you powerful but the fun nobles have bantering back and forth. for a noble who doesn't pay attention to the realms buisness is "Dead Weight" stealing the peasants tax gold but not adding anything to the realm. Activity is probably the most important aspect to being a noble. Rallying that and making all nobles pay attention increases your realms might therefore that is the main job of the KING! This is where many of Kronos Adversaries in Atamara and Carelia fail to see his greatness. He has a knack for keeping nobles writing messages. And more importantly, he sees the true value in it. So while i am not able to talk about the going ons in the senate FLOOR. I can speak here. And here, i say you all are having the wrong discussion! you should be trying to keep the king from resigning. Most are power hungry and hell i dont blame any you for even that. For while i have nothing against the "next" leader of Carelia, for if it is who i think it would be is an honorable man is he as eccentric as Kronos? This theroy of mine was proven by Our last General Tharan, as Eccentric and fun as the king himself when he goes on rambling. our armies were a force as dangerous as any ever Marshalled on Atamara under his strangely interesting antics.So down with the nonsense. If you want to be king, get the support to do it. Dont guilt Kronos into giving it away. there is not many who would vote against him for they feel as I. I will not go back to the days of dreading to read through my scribes reports instead of waking up to a good chuckle. Latley the Senate has taken to discussing the future in which to take Carelia. With each senator who was worth his salt putting in two cents if you havent spoken up by now, you are not doing your job. Frankly find another job. i know that yavanna speaks enough for everyone, but thats why she is so loved in Carelia. Again proving my point. Right now the senate is in a heated argument about the future of Carelia. Some in the senate have yet to even say hello. 2/3rds in fact. so sad, so sad indeed. November 6,2007 Who will rule? As of a few days ago, Kronos as confirmed his previous statement to resign and step down. Very soon. Already there has been some short subtle campaigning going on by a few people including the favorite current Archpriest Garthon. Garthon in all honesty wouldnt be my first choice, but frankly the sense he made about the argument in the senate from my previous article "here comes Carelia" has made me seriously reconsider my earlier assessments against him. i personally will wait to see what he says during his campaign for the throne to pass any further judgment. In other news Carelia is now gearing up for a one final push and one final farewell to Redspan. finally finishing of a war that ended much sooner than most people thought it would. November 19th, 2007
