Rugina slumps in her seat, watching a healer tend to her wounded Entourage. She asks Tomas how many undead they all brought down, and smiled. 33 dastards turned dirt.

"Ran to fast, but still got a 4 per one of us. No back up." Rugina boasts to her remaining men, who raise their red caps to her.

Tomas stands with perfect posture his hands resting on the butt of his lance, which was struck into the dirt. "But My Lady, you cut down 14 in your galla of thorns... and you score yet again, six more bodies then me. How do you pull that off every time?"

Rugina pulls one of her swords and highlights the blue ribbons tasseled to the hilt by twisting her hands in it. "I had a bunch of friends who also liked to keep score, so I always figured a way to keep ahead of them during battle... And it's a secret." Rugina chuckles softly over old memories. "But back then it was just wolfs and murders of crows. Nothing like it is now... These used to be battle-hardened warriors, and most of our enemies now are still breathing warriors with dreams."

Tomas scowls "Don't tell me your feeling sorry for them again, you know the fate of someone who fights Sirion."

Rugina scornful trusts the sword in her hand into the dirt. "I do feel moments of pity and regret when I fight them, but as soon as it starts and first blood is drawn, that moment passes. And I don't fear taking away someone's dreams, I do it almost every time I leave Sirion's borders. A slap of fate as soon as one meets my swords-"

Tomas leans over his lance and stares Rugina straight in the eyes with a mischievous sparkle in his eyes.

Rugina smirks "What???"

"You speak of slapping someone with fate when ever they cross your sword, but what ever happened to that duel you were going to have with Duke Erik?"

Rugina pauses "He would roll over me-"

"your faster-"

"He's stronger-"

"he's older-"

"But I'm-"

Tomas frowns "And he doesn't know it yet till he gets slapped with fate, yes?"

Rugina nods quietly.
