Cross knew the very moment he laid a foot on Sirion soil, that he would have to deal with the whech Rugina. She just might cause Cross a few headaches. He will need to word his letters and speak carefully around her or any other with suspicion of what really happened to Femme. He did not want the Sirion justice looking over his shoulder. In fact, he wanted none to watch over him.

"Sita, be a sweet dear, and go ahead of the plan, get me a boat that can take us where I need to go..."Cailin whispered to Sita, after mere moments of getting off the Ship. Beasts were not meant to travel over large bodies of water, such as a sea. The Epic forbid it, unless to insure survival. And that is what Cross is doing.
