History
Hrothgar started his military carrer in Oligarch, a once powerful realm, then on the verge of defeat. The main city of Oligarch was the only place in the northern part of East Continent where the soliders of Oligarch could breath easy. The combined forces of Sirion, Fontan, and Old Rancuaga pushed the borders closer and closer.
The battle was one for the ages. The combined CS of the attacking forces was almost 50,000. The defenders had a measly 20,000 by comparison.
His home fallen, Hrothgar decided to make his way south to Perdan. He made his way safely through Bruck but was captured entering Fontanese territory. He languished in jail for several days before paying his own bounty to escape.
Now back in Oligarch, but before it was fully taken over by Sirion forces, Hrothgar made way to Caligus, deciding they would need more help than Perdan in the coming battles. However, once in Fontan territory, he was thrown in jail again. This time he joined Fontan to escape. This plan worked and he was soon free. The new people in Fontan were weary to trust Hrothgar as he was an enemy just days before. Hrothgar explained to many that he was only passing through, many Fontanese were rude to him.
Hrothgar finally made it to Caligus after many miles of travelling. However Hrothgar found no rest in Caligus. The constant war with Yssaria took its toll on him. He was imprisoned and tortured by Is Est, hated Arch Preist of Yssaria. Caligus was pushed back, and soon, many battles in Domus were soon aproaching. Many battles have occured as of late, with Caligus losing not a single one. Yssaria has been beaten back, as well as an Itorunti raiding party.
Hrothgar was placed in charge of the Royal Foxes of Caligus after leading a sucessful raid into Yssarian lands, that unfortunately lead to the death of Alex, High Marhsal of Itorunt. He was promoted to Marshal of the Army of Domus after Son of Patrick stepped down as General of Caligus.
With the continent wide peace agreement being reached Hrothgar is looking for new ways to serve Caligus. Nomatter what he does, Hrothgar will continue to serve Caligus, until he is cut down in battle, as is the fate of most heroes.
