Camping outside the grand walls of Itorunt and overseeing the siege, Mythos finds himself pondering of his younger days and remembering the scenes from his past.

He remembers the beginning of this bloody war and King Lucians imperialistic words that were still so alive and that triggered the Great Southern War: "Now, I just want to see Ibladesh deprived of their lands." He was a child back then having only 17 years and practically beardless. But, he had the Ibladeshian heart. A heart that desired to fight, learn and defend his realm. Although facing themselves against a much stronger and military superior opponent, the first few weeks saw great success for Ibladesh and himself.

Then, he remembered the Caligan invasion from the north, his own sickness which he barely survived, and the hard place the nobles of Ibladesh found themselves in. He also remembered very vividly the moment when this war lost the honor it had in the beginning. The heralds from Zawr reported extremely brutal massacres of peasants performed by Itorunt nobles. Mythos was one of the first that arrived to the scene to witness the horror of the genocide that poor region endured. Those scenes have cut into his memory staying there forever, and the deeds were done by none other than the future Queen of Itorunt, Morgana Lefanis.

He remembers those hard days and all the deaths of fair nobles. During the time of his military leadership Mythos buried 4 heroes with his own hands. Minerva, one of the first rulers of Ibladesh fell in Ar Raqqah. Alendru, who was killed by nobles of Itorunt in Zawr. Elladan Losfer, fallen in service on the fields of Betholm while defending his land. And lastly, Crassus, a member of the Ramsus Protectors who saw his demise in so distant Jariedma.

And look at them now! Mythos stood oh so proud in front of the massive walls that protected a lunatic hiding in his keep. He was proud of every breath he took as a soldier of Ibladesh, proud of every child he saved, and proud to serve the gods as a hero of Ibladesh.

Time was ticking faster and faster for his enemies. He had no delusions that Morgana was brainwashing her own nobles with terrible stories about Ibladesh. After all, it was all a propaganda aimed to preserve her own royal position and try to politically pressure the realm of Ibladesh. It was the same as that pathetic Itorunt Informer newspapers launched by that madman Hamilton during his relatively sane days; a newspaper Mythos will gladly burn on sight. But the time was ticking for all of them, and none can escape the retribution of time.
