Abington-Icon.png About the Region

Anchorinn is a coastal region with a primarily seafaring way of life. Its many ports are home to few but frequented by many. Ships along the trading route to Suville stop here, and fishing vessels of all sizes can be found in the waters searching for, among more common prey, shark and dolphin (which fetch a high price for the meal-plates of Abington's nobility).

The county is known to be quite lawless, labelled a "problem region" by Abington's Civil Workers and needing a higher-than-normal amount of police and courtwork. It is said that the Abington Common Code, with its harsher punishments, was developed in response to the region lords (the Arch Priest of Abington) experiences with this region.

The region is also far from the lines of warfare drawing up to the north, and hasn't changed hands in a very, very long time. The anchor of Abington's coat-of-arms may be seen as an apt metaphor for the stability exemplified by Anchorinn.
