Wellspring Temple

The Wellspring Temple, named after the natural spring that feeds the area and surfaces at the north edge of the temple grounds, has been the central temple of the Adgharhin Way for longer than any living has record of. The compound is also the location of the residence of the Elder Guardian of the Way, who is the spiritual leader of the faith..

The Temple is located In the woodlands to the north of the City of Enlod. A stone path opens to a clearing in the old oaks which make up this part of the forest. At the paths end is a new marble statue of Adaghar, Builder of Cities, Giver of Laws: "He stands tall on his granite plinth, his eye gazing sternly out toward the world." In his left hand, he holds a book of laws; in his right, he holds an axe. Within the clearing a circle of stones can be seen. They are arranged in dolmen formations around the perimeter of the center of the clearing with a ring of smaller stones around the outside edge.

Along the northern edge of the clearing where a small spring can be seen at the forest's edge. A small collection pool has been built out of small stones.

Off to the west side of the temple, a modest stone building can be seen, with smoke coming out of a chimney. It would appear to be a residence of sorts.

At the southern edge of the stone circle, an opening leads the into the heart of the temple. A huge stone slab can be seen at it's center.

Construction

The stone that makes up the majority of the temple is made of granite quarried off the coast of Itomazh. The house, the circle of dolmen stones and the altar itself seem to be made of solid slabs of this material. In places within the house, timbers harvested from Mnalor, the grain showing their emense age by their deeply blackened tone.

People

The Wellspring temple, although being a larger temple, is less manned than the others, due to the monastary that is in the city proper, where the majority of the monks of the Orders are residing. The house is home to Elder Dormondt as well as his handmaiden and a few other monks.
