158 troop leaders from all across Atamara came to celebrate King Dead Angel the Third's farewell tournament. Ale flowed freely with many buying rounds of drinks for everyone at the tournament. Given the amount consumed, it is surprising some were able to compete at all. Many nobles from Minas Ithil took part but unfortunately none was able to win the contest. Minas Ithil thanks all who came to take part in the tournament. The winners each received a prize of 700 gold and for second place 150 gold. Jaime from Talerium and Tomin from Suville took 1st and 2nd in the swordfighting competition. Dashem and Kido from Falasan took 1st and 2nd in the Jousting competition. Yesterday Sir Raoul De La Fere was selected as King by a margin of one vote. It was an extremely close election. In an elaborate ceremony he was crowned by King Dead Angel the Third. Parades and celebrations fill the city of Shanandoah. |
