Wish List/Tourneys

Aniway the idea is basicly about forming teams and it would go by sword fighting skill.

This would improve relations in Tournaments and maybe even roleplay.

I tought it could work something like a 5 men per team and it could be either made by realm (7 Old grehkians, plus 5 AShbornians and 3 Riomabarians would mean a team of 5 OG, 5 AB and 2 OG + 3 Riombarians) or it could be choosen and joined by the nobles themselves.

The only problem is that if it was teams of 5 men there could be some who would not manage to get a team...

The prize would be divided by the five and this kind of competition would have a smaller prize generally.

It is something like, swordfighting tourney, jousting tourney and teams tourney.

I think this would be worthwile. But the teams would have to be decided at the tourney, and this would likely need to be a seperate competition. Perhaps uneven teams be allowed, just have a maximum number of members per team. --Kag 07:38, 31 July 2006 (CEST)

This sounds like a pretty cool idea. Maybe to prevent uneven teams, make it an additional event to the normal competitions. You form a team with other nobles in the tournament grounds and then one person signs them up together. It could cost an extra 2 gold per person which is taken when they get signed up. While on this topic, why not also make something of a mock battle between participating countries to show off their prowess? I've read about mock battles during tourneys in the middle ages in several novels. It could work like a sort of play-off sytle, with the countries being able to put only a limited number of men on the field and each country is randomly matched with another country and the victorious goes on to the next round.--J 22:43, 18 October 2006 (CEST)
