Realm description

Wicrose is an empire of evil, ruled by the Rose King who, with the help of his retainers, work to expand power and eliminate obstacles. A realm of intrigue and adventure, where connections are key to survive. A monarchy with a centralized and authoritarian regime, but we welcome all faiths and backgrounds. The Darkened Kingdom of Wicrose will shine as a beacon of darkness upon Dwilight, striking fear into the hearts of its enemies and inspiring awe in its loyal followers.

History

Following Gambit Aurelius' proclamation to end Astrum, many Astrumites abandoned the realm, leaving it in a state of disarray. However, some minor nobles refused to let the realm fall and rose up to try to salvage what was left. Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain, as the realm had already been destroyed beyond repair.

Despite the bleak outlook, the remaining nobles decided to attempt to retake the city of Freke and rebuild the realm. Surprisingly, Gambit the Destroyer offered to assist in their efforts. When the city was recaptured, Gambit quickly appointed himself as the new lord of Freke. This development was met with ridicule, and some of the nobles sought help from the Ascendancy of Eternal Luria Nova.

The Lurians responded by marching to Mimer to help them establish a new home there. They handed over the city to the nobles and provided 15,000 gold to aid in the rebuilding of the realm. The nobles quickly overthrew Gambit and relocated their capital to Mimer, distancing themselves from the former ruler.

The realm was rebranded as Wicrose, but it was plagued with political instability from the start. The first few rulers disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving the realm vulnerable to external threats. Westgard, a neighboring realm, took advantage of the situation and captured the city of Libidizedd. After issuing several threats, Westgard declared war on Wicrose.
