The Verdant Sun realizes the allure of cities and townslands as urban life can easily provide beyond the basic comforts and fiscal security sought by most, but we ask at what cost? These lifestyles destroy independence and dignity, fostering vice and weakness. We believe the cultivation of the soil has within it a positive spiritual good and from it are grown the virtues of honor, self-reliance, courage, moral integrity, and hospitality. It is this belief upon which our very foundation is built.

For too long has the wealth of our rural territories been taken from our granaries and shipped to bloated city coffers. We have become conditioned to make requests of gold, to forsake the pride of our independence and relinquish any hopes of self-sufficiency. These actions, though perceived as a necessary sacrifice to benefit the realm as a whole, hinder the economy overall and create vast financial divides. Consolidating the wealth of realm into the hands of limited few. A fundamental shift in perspective is needed to achieve the thriving future we of the Verdant Sun know to be obtainable.

We strive to ensure the prosperity of realms through cooperation and collective action. A realm cannot solely consist of rural territories, nor can they be comprised of cities alone. Their relationship and union is vital for the progress of civilization. Through our collective efforts, both urban and rural, we can begin to revitalize economies across the continent, becoming the harbingers of a new era. An era respect, self-sufficiency and equity for all.
