Origin
First to his name, born in the Boreean branch of House Velaryon. Son to Tahaerys, brother to Lucerys and Jacaerys Velaryon. Born in Darfix during one stormy night. The females of Boreean branch traditionally sail to the far northwest to deliver their unborn in the Silver Temple of Darfix. When the children are born they water their heads in the sacred chalice that gives them characteristic and unusually silver hair. Foretold by his father Tahaerys to become the storm wielder and the first dragon rider.
Appearance and character
Monterys is a man of medium height and build. He has silver hair, dark eyes and a sincere smile. He wears a black armor and a red cloak, and in battle he wields the sword Ashrune. He is of adventurous and daring character, and his main interests lie in military operations and expeditionary endeavors.
