Prophet {name}

Roy lived like a king. He had everything his heart desired, from servants to the biggest luxury you can imagine. He reigned a Republic with pasion and dedication, and made decisions that influenced the lifes of many people around him. You could say he lived a life many could only dream of. But even though his own success, he always felt an empty space in his heart. Because his worldly belongings are no more than that, material pocession. Roy feared death. And for years Roy was on a spiritual voyage to find the ultimate truth. The true Gods, to guide him towards the path of salvation. He prayed towards the heavens, donated gold to the houses of the Gods and enganged in lenghty discussions with the glercy. But he never felt unified with their beliefs, nor sensed the presence of the divine. It is what made his search long and almost hopeless.

Nos sumus filii Patri,

Credo Patri, deos Celestem
ideo convertam me ad divinam voluntatem,

Sanctus Patri.

I believe in the Patri, the Gods of Celestis,
the creators of Delmak, Ne'tu and humanity.
We are the children of the Patri,
to be shepherd and protected by their hand,
to receive their love and mercy.
I believe in the Patri, the Gods of Celestis,
hence devote myself to their divine will,
worship them in the splendour of their holiness,
and lead their children out of oppression.
Hallowed are the Patri.

Beliefs

The Parti are deities that live in Celestis. To mankind, the Parti present themselves as one entity, but Celestis counts many Parti, although their actual number is unknown. They do not reveal themselves to any life on the lower planes of existence, and their ways are mysterious and unfathomable. The Parti are the creators of all life. We are the children of the Parti.

Celestis

When they created the universe, the Parti created Celestis. Celesitis is the divine realm of the Parti, and after the creation of Delmak, it also became the final resting place for mortal souls.

Delmak

"Esse rebus corporeis", the corporeal plane of existence, known as Delmak. The Earth we inhabit, a creation of the Patri. In the void and darkness They shine their light. And from it the Patri made the firmament, formed earth and created water to be combined into one. The water undulates upon the earth, captured within the firmament. And as the Patri raised their hands, the earth gathered together and heaved it from the depts to rise above the water. The Patri called their creation Delmak. And across Delmak They spread the seeds of life, and vegetation grew in all its forms and diversities to bring forth new seeds. And with astonishing power the Patri casted a thundering light. The light cut through the firmament into the dept of the water to bring forth every fish of the sea, every fowl of the air and every beast of the earth in all its forms and diversities. And after Their own image, the Patri created mankind, and placed them on Delmak to subdue the corporeal plane of existence.

Lateo Parti

The Lateo Patri, better known as 'The Lost', are divine beings who have strayed from the ways of the Parti, strayed from Celestis. They do not deserve to be worshipped, but they are not by definition evil.

The Great Hall of Mortis

"In Mortis vobis judicabitur Patri. Utrum anima tua manifestum te iungo eos in Celestis. Fusce animam peccatricem, te ad Ne'tu descendit."

Also known as the Great Hall of the Dead and the Great Hall of Salvation. Mortis is the divine courtroom of the Patri where we receive our final judgement. truth, balance, order, law, morality, and justice

Ne'tu

The Diam Mark

The Diam Mark is a mark on the shoulder of the faithful. It represent great devotion to the Patri and bears status to those who receive them.
During a Rite of Passage, a ceremony preformed by only the most pious and skilled priests, known as 'Attulimus Dei', a Diciplus of the Omnis Patri receives the Diam Mark on the right shoulder. The right shoulder is chosen because that is the arm in which a man wields his sword. Meaning that his sword and alligiance is to no other than the Patri. And anyone who bears the Diam Mark, an image of the Sanctus Diam ingraved with ink, on the right shoulder may call himself a Patrum Bellator, a warior of the Patri.

The Second Mark

Only the most patriotic, honourable and devoted nobles who serve the Patri with dignity and loyalty will ever withness a second Attulimus Dei. Because it bestows the highest, most prestigious and most pious status a knight can receive within the Patrum Church, the rank of Patrum Miles. The ceremony may only be preformed by an Elder of the Church, and ingraves the second Diam Mark now on the left shoulder. The arm in which a man wields his shield and stands for his devotion to protect the faith and faithful.

Applying the Mark

Mostly a clerk of the priest who preforms the ceremony prepare the mixure of ink. The bark of acacia pine wood, corroded bronze, gall and vitriol are mixed well and sifted. He grinds the corroded bronze with vinegar and mixes it with the other ingredients to make a powder of it. He soaks the powder in two parts of water and one part of leek juice and which he again mixes thoroughly.
The priest first wash the place to be tattooed with leek juice and then pricks in the design of the Sanctus Diam with pointed needles until blood is drawn. Then the ink is rubbed in to make the holy mark eternal.

The collective name for a follower of the Patri, is Patrician. But the Patrum Church has a pious hierarchy, and its members are expected to address each other by their rank within the halls of the Church.
