Caroline is the only natural child born to William and Lynn Tinsley. She is younger than her step-brothers.  She left the ways of warfare, and took up the red tape of bureaucracy in Valentia, Beluaterra.  At one time she was both the Countess of Winifael and Fiduciary of Valentia.  As the current Invasion escalated, Valentia started to crumble.  She was instrumental in an attempt to retake Unger, but it failed.  With Valentia gone, she traveled south and west to Heen, where she has offered her services to Duke Fror.
