Marcil

Marcil is the only son, born out wedlock, by Shassala daughter of the merchant Surikos of Ibladesh City. A trader contact, Gwaelor Thunthorn, from the far north seduced and dishonored his mother, causing her to be exiled to her fathers country house in Oc Lu Pesh where Marcil was born and lived out his early days.

When Shassala was killed during a monster rampage Marcil took up arms and started to hunt down monsters, particularly obsessed by finding the fabled Snaargh which he thinks is responsible for his family's misfortune. He has been travelling as an adventurer since killing monsters and undead but never catching up with the Snaargh.

While he knows that his father came frome the north he is ignorant of his Elven heritage, even if a well travelled observer could recognize his elven features.
