Daimons tramp across Fronen

While Fronenian, undead, and Melhesian forces prepared to attack Dreadlord Arcane's Daimonic army in Qual, another band of Daimons crossed into Jyl and then proceeded to the Fronenian city, Vur Hagin. Vur Hagin is the smallest and most lightly defended city in the Republic. The Daimons met with minimal resistance, the allied armies (except for a Riombaran contingent crossing Fronen's southern border]] remaining stationed further north, away from the city.

Daimons Move on

After conquering the mountains of Jedinchal on Fronen's western border, the Daimonic forces have adopted a "divide and conquer strategy" with one large army advanceing into Fronen, another continuing the assault on Old Grehk and a third smaller army headed to attack Valentia. As of now, the Daimonic regiment in Fronen is holding steady in the mountains of Qual without beginning a takeover. Meanwhile, Fronen's forces prepare to purge our territories of these hideous creatures. An undead horde led by the legendary commander Maldiciones is prepared to aid Fronenian forces, as are (supposedly) Melhesian troops led by Defense Minister Bimbo. With any luck, the Daimonic contingent within Fronen's borders can be successfully repulsed.

Daimon Report

The Daimons have been gaining strength recently, concentrating their forces in a few select mountain regions. Sint, land of Hemaists are seeing their volcano, Jobo's Mouth taken over by a large army of daimons. Avalon also has seen some daimons in the mountains near the jewel of Avalon, Wudenkin City. Closest to Fronen thogh is a massive 40k army of Daimons trying to take over the mountains of Jedinchal. While Jedinchal is technically part of Old Grehk, it is a region just across the border and thus is a grave threat to Fronen, particulrly the mountain men in Qual. Fronenian troops are begining to assemble now. The three Fronenian armies will be joined by an undead legion led by Dreadlord Dimitri. Reports also tell us that 10k CS of Melhesian troops will also be coming to fight the Daimonic masses in Jedinchal. With any luck the Daimonic bands across the border can be vanquished in one great show of force.

Fwuvoghor Sacked... Again

This morning, the city of Fwuvoghor was invaded by Daimonic Hordes led by Dreadlord Arcane. A force of over 17000 CS, full of all sorts of Vile Creatures broke through the already weakened defenses of Fwuvoghor. If you recall, Fwuvoghor was occupied by ECA forces last April. Now, even with help from the Necromancer's Servants, Fwuvoghor still could not hold it's own. Other nations near Fwuvoghor (like RIombara, Avalon, and Enweil) probably ought to pay attention to Arcane's Army.

Sucessful Defense

Today a Vast Army of Daimons, led by Dreadlord Ethereal attacked Fronen's capital city, Fronepu. With three unique items on Fronen's side, morale was not an issue in this battle. Ethereal's horde had 215 demons (whose strength totaled about 14000 CS) while Fronen amassed a defending force of 2096 men (whose strength was about 25000 CS). The battle had a heavy cost for Fronen. many lives were lost, and much money was spent to levy so many soldiers. The Prime Minsiter and Finance Minister were both wounded, as were two Counts. The great Fortress of Fronepu lost it's thick outer wall, reducing it to a mere Stronghold. Still though, the Republic has survived, and the Daimonic Dreadlord Ethereal was killed along with all the rest of his foul creatures.

*EDIT* Unfortunately, a second Daimonic army led by Dreadlord Arcane is currently in Fronen's southernmost region, Cori. He is headed into Avalon, but luckily for the Avalonians Arcane's legion seems to be traveling through Lacint, bypassing the Avalonian capital city. Avalonian and Fronenian officials speculate the horde (over 17000 Cs strong, mightier even than the Horde which tried to enter Fronepu) is taking the sea road often travelled by ECA armies. this is the road leading straight to Fwuvoghor. While this is of course pure speculation, Arcane's path is clearly a lucky break for Avalon.

The coming siege

In the past few days, the Republic of Fronen has been attacked by the Daimons. A large Daimonic horde led by the Dreadlord Ethereal has defeated the small contingents of Fronenian and Melhesian troops that stood against them. Now the Daimons are moving southwards through the pleasant farmlands of Seven Rivers towards Fronen's capital, the eastern seaport city of Fronepu. The Horde's strength has been estimated at about 13000 CS, while the Fronenian defense amassed in the capital is estimated at over 21000 CS. The Daimons have already sacked one capital city (Creasur in Plergoth) and Fronen is determined to not let that happen again.
