Absolutely none of this has happened yet correct? :P Ceorl 12:27, 4 March 2008 (CET)

:I really wish you guys would *not* do this kind of thing. (And that goes for all the people that are creating these realms they hope to found on Dwilight.) This realm does not exist, and it does not own *any* of these regions, and may very well *never* own quite a few of them, even if it does get started. You should place a huge banner at the top of your page that this entire thing is, essentially, a work of fiction. --Indirik 17:21, 6 March 2008 (CET)

:::I must agree though, it really bothers me that you already have a history written up that you want to follow. --Athins 19:42, 14 March 2008 (CET)

You know... Your realm still only has 1 region, not all it's members, no councillors, no lords... -Chénier 19:05, 8 March 2008 (CET)

Well, at least the realm is growing, and the wiki page is espectacular, A true model to follow - Baldur Mekorig

:There's no question that it's a great page. Well-written and very attractive. No one is complaining about that. Most people, though, have a problem with the statements that the page makes about the status of the realm. Before it was even founded as a colony they had a map showing a territory of 9 or 10 regions, and a long, elaborate history of how the realm was founded, who the rulers and councilors were, etc. Stating these kinds of predictions as established fact is... well, I don't know exactly what you'd call it. Presumptuous? Rude? --Indirik 16:40, 26 March 2008 (CET)

Status Indicator
It's ok with me to write on the Wiki about plans, or potential or even things-that-might-be.

As long as a visitor to the page is correctly informed about this fact. So until the realm actually matches the map, history, etc. - keep some kind of indicator there. It doesn't have to be the "hypothetical" template, but something that tells a visitor that the current realm is not what the description describes.

Regarding "Status"
There is nothing inaccurate on this page anymore, and there hasn't been for some time now.  Anything that is still speculative, like the religion, has been made clear that it is so with language in the section in question.  The only OTHER thing that is speculative is the banner/icon - and that's only because Tom hasn't had a chance to load up the ones I sent him yet.

So, I HIGHLY disagree with that tag being on the top of this page now - there's nothing left to pick on - council is correct, regions are correct, the map is correct, the history and lore is correct, any future plans (which are established RP in the realm IN THE GAME, thus worthy of mention on the wiki itself) regarding religion or guilds are specifically stated as not yet existing (and I view it as akin to being on wikipedia and seeing a phrase like "Going into the 2008 season, the New England Patriots have a great need at linebacker and plan on selecting one in the draft or signing one in free agency" when reading the Patriots wiki - completely appropriate given the actual RP in the realm in the game).

The Tag gives the impression that the entire realm doesn't exist, and the whole article is speculative - when in reality everything on the page is completely accurate.  When I built the page, I ADMITTEDLY didn't put the tag up - because I didn't know it existed and honestly didn't originally have it linked anywhere and figured people wouldn't see it until then anyway - and wrote up a lot of this page as a BASE so I could add in filler content when things actually happened (like specific people got elected to positions and such), and since those things have happened I have updated this ENTIRE page... and spent a LOT of time doing so.

You know, given the amount of time and effort I spend on adding atmosphere and content on this wiki with pages like this, and the Torenism page (among others), it would be awful nice if you guys could lay the hell off.  You showed me an error in that I didn't have that tag at the top of the page when I was building it - and so I left it up as I continued to build it, when the realm didn't exist, and when everything was still in the works.  But now that its done, and this wiki is up to date (as it has been for a while now) I really would appreciate a "hey nice article man" or something, rather than whining about the fact that I built a detailed page ahead of the creation of something.

I mean, sorry guys, but have you READ most of the battlemaster wiki?  Its (for the most part) poorly written, juvenile rp without a lot of attention to building atmosphere, legend, lore or history - and I think this project would be really WELL SERVED to have a few more people do what I'm doing (and its not just me by the way, I do a lot of edits for people in Everguard who don't know how to edit the wiki) and spend some time and effort building a realistic, detailed world to play in - because I'm sorry, part of the problem with BM is that no one RPs and we're basically just pushing buttons for five minutes a day and not really playing a game.  We have an opportunity to create an entire WORLD here... and I'm trying really hard to give the people I play with something to USE... something to POINT AT when they RP.  Something that won't get lost when the 30 days of your message system saving messages goes away... something that all the players of a realm can have in common - and YES, something that OTHER PEOPLE can contribute to and build off of.  That's something more people should do - and I'm sorry that ORIGINALLY this page didn't have the proper tag - but it shouldn't have one now.  Arylon 19:44, 27 March 2008 (CET)

Suggestion

Instead of self updating the map just use this;

Realm-Everguard.jpg

http://battlemaster.org/maps-8/Realm-Everguard.jpg

It will auto update itself.

I think he was creating the map on his own due to the "fog of war" effect Tom was using on the realm maps. Most of his realm was under that black shadow. (And the fact that his realm Icon wasn't being used for quit a while.) Now that it is no longer half blacked out, he probably could go to using the standard game-generated map. --Indirik 23:01, 10 April 2008 (CEST)
Yup, you're both right. That was why I originally did it, and that probably is a good idea. Thanks. Arylon 19:38, 11 April 2008 (CEST)
