Talk:Cagilan Citizen/Volume Two

Tara appears to be losing but isnt? Really now. Looking at the December '04 map Tara had 19 regions and controlled the cities of Foda, Tarasac, and the stronghold Aja. Now they have only 2 regions and control only the city of Foda. But that is not this specific war. This specific war Tara has lost 4 of its regions, while neither the SA or Falasan have lost any.

Hmm... who was winning again?

I was talking about this war. When we take Tara's history entire history into account, you are correct. Tara has lost its former glory under the aggression of the SA. However in this current war, the goal was to destroy Tara. If they haven't accomplished that goal, then they haven't won. This war is about Carelia betrayal and the Triple Federations's goal of the death of Tara. -- Sephirah Bishamon Family 23:46, 19 July 2006 (CEST)

I didnt say the SA and Falasan have won. We are winning though, and soon the war will be won. Considering that CE has lost 3 regions(1 being a city) and Tara has lost 4(Aigaling, Tandsu, Jagla, and Meldeen) with the SA realms and Falasan not losing anything I think we can agree that Tara and CE are losing. No, we haven't won yet and you haven't lost yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Like I said, it only appears as you are winning. Much like a forest fire may appear to defeat a forest, you have appeared to have made gains. However, the forest comes back to life. So it is with this war. You have made quick gains, but we will spring back and be victorious and win this war. The tide is turning against you. The Cagilan Empire and its many friends are a sleeping giant. We give you a chance. But once you've betrayed us and raised our ire, you shall regret it within time. -- Sephirah Bishamon Family 06:02, 20 July 2006 (CEST)

And I thought my younger brother's newspaper was bad! Really you are telling readers not to beleive what they can see themselves. I find that absurd, but eh you Cagilanis can think what you want. --Alex 06:13, 20 July 2006 (CEST)(Decius)

Let's see if you think this at the end of the war. -- Sephirah Bishamon Family 07:06, 20 July 2006 (CEST)

For whatever reason, I find it a bit odd that Tara and CE equated a plot to starting a war. There was no aggression on the part of the SA, and yet the NA decided that a plot that never happened deserved a full-blown war. I will also note that if ASI/Talerium/MI had not chosen this particular time to attempt to carve up Abington, and/or if Darka were a legitimate realm that had it's own problems to deal with, instead of selling out to interfere in everyone else's, Tara would be gone by now. (and, Alex, just for the record, Meldeen started the war in RedSpan's hands). -- Dielo

Let's say the situation was reversed. Say the NA, brought an ally upon your side to destroy one of your allies. Would Abington not attack the NA in the name of self-defence? What you speak of is suicidal. -- Sephirah Bishamon Family 23:42, 29 July 2006 (CEST)
