Strife Family

The stuff written underneath isnt what is actually here, i just needed a place to dump it before i get round to writing it all up properly
Descendents of an avater of chaos, the Strife family name seems oddly appropriate. Although the family members are not that well known, their presence hasnt definatley been felt.
Cloud: The first and by far the most infamous member of the family. Initally coming from falasan he was quickly booted out of the realm after the men under his command went on an unauthorised looting spree. The fact that his "sister" had joined Darka did not help his case. For banishing him from his own homelands Cloud swore vengeance on King Maniac and the judge, Legolas. After a short journy he wound up in Talerium convinced that as the realm was allies with Darka that he would not have any problems of a similer nature. He was wrong, several of the leading Talerium nobles including there general Thorbjørn considered Darka to be nothing more then parasites. In an attempt to learn more about the political situation, Cloud asked several troop leaders from other realms to give him there view on how they saw Atamara, and how it had got into its current situation. During his time in Talerium he became one of the many hero's willing to risk themselves on the frontline.
Around 150 days into his career in Talerium, a raiding party attacked the top of Falasans northern border, Menedor. There on the walls of Menador stood Legolas, eager to finnaly have his vengeance Cloud surged forward towards the walls however his men never gained a footing before they were driven off. However another Talerium troop leader by the name of Rebel managed to shoot Legolas of the walls to his doom. Cloud has been friends will Rebel ever since.
Over the next 100 days Cloud's arguments with Thorbjorn continued to escalate until Thorbjørn sne a letter to the realm claiming that soon they would purge Darka from Atamara. At the same time a letter was apparently sent to Darka containing the military information of Talerium. Cloud was blamed for this and was fined heavily. In responce Cloud sent the letter Thorbjorn had sent to the realm to the current King of Darka... the two realms have never completely trusted each other since. When the council found out what Cloud had done he was banished from the realm and was chased to Cagilan Empire borders by a small battle group led by the madaxeman Khorne. At this time a bounty of 100 gold pieces was put on both Cloud's and Thorbjørn's heads. The Cagilan accepted Cloud after he was vouched for by Howard, who was at the time a highly respected member of the realm.
Cloud has been in the Cagilan empire for more then a year now and has participated in many major battles including the largest current battle in the history of the world. He has also become a master of the sword, as was first proven when he dueled the King of Falasan, Maniac and finnaly regained his lost honour by seriously wounding the King in a duel to surrender. Cloud still has several arguments with various realm mates over his "actions" in Talerium however they hold no real importance. No one yas yet to take Cloud's bounty despite numerous attempts. Even the legendary bounty hunter Si-Ju-Jarugi not only failed to claim the bounty but got seriously wounded in the process.

Dawn: An adopted member of the family, found at a young age by a man who she barely remembers, only that his name was Haakon, she was adopted into his family but he disapeered soon after. She adapted well to her new life as no one yet questioned her bloodline despite the fact she looked nothing like the other two children. However her "brother" Cloud reguly voiced his disaproval to her as he believed that she was unworthy of bearing the Strife Crest. When she was 14 She had had enough of his constant insults and ran to Darka, however unknown to Cloud she kept in reguler contact with her "sister" Tojira.
The time came when Dawn finally became a fully recognised noble of Darka, she quickly became good friends with a darkan countess, Lavigna. Dawn quickly became skilled with a variety of weapons including a previously unseen weapon, the Zhanbantoh, a dreaded mix of both the long sword, staff and Nagonata mixed into one.
She was eventually entrused with a region after a year of loyal service to Darka. Ironically this was Lavgina's region that was entrusted into her care during her absence.
Although she had many friends in darka there were still some her seemed to dislike her opinouns, including the darkan judge Herumor. After several minor arguments over trivial matters an incedent happened which led to the longest string of bans in a single day by one judge. Herumor was targetted by the BlackMamba after his closest competitor Ice put a price on his head. Vinnie was asked to deliever a message to his brother the leader of Black Mamba. A new noble tried to defend there case when Herumor found out, when Dawn tried to help this noble by protesting against the judges rash actions she two was banned. Wimpie, a good friend of her's then defended her however he to was banned. If it was not for the intevention of GhostDragon then Heremor could well of split the realm apart that day. She was ordered by Herumor to personally stop Vinnie before he fled Darka. After a brief battle on the fields of Tolhour Vinnie was personally wounded by Dawn. He did eventually escape, however none of his current body guard survived.
A few months later Dawn lost contact with her only family contact Tojira, a week or two later at a tournamane tshe headr that she had been personally killed by Castimir, Herumor's brother. After this Dawn took a dark step into her future, becoming a warrior of the shadows. She has been losing her sanity slowly ever since. After months of training she finnaly left Darka and moved against the lands of Abington, there she caused havoc for two months before she was finnaly caught, however she was badly guarded and she escaped, soon she was back again wounding important leaders as she went including Harpy, the general of Carelia.
After 600 Days of service on Darka she announced that she would be taking a "trip" to explore the world. She landed on the beach of the troubled realm of Taith Aenil, it wasnt long before she was a crucial weapon in a civil war, acting as a spy and sabatouer against Taith Aenil until Greater Aenillia finnaly conquered the city of Nahad. Kali has yet to find out about her betrayal. She has spent her current time hunting down the remians of Taith Aenil and dealing with other threats that come across her way. Her slightly phychotic actions seems to have worried some members of her realm however she is completely loyal to Orphen.

Tojira: The dark sorcerer. The only member of the family who knows about there original origons in detail. Very little is known about her except that she asks many questions and has never been known to back away from a fight no matter the odds. Little is known about her personaility, she rarely talked much, just planned and came up ideas for Ikalaks demise and the long war with Taselak before that. During a great battle in Aboal she managed to kill the Ikalak hero Lorien with her bow and has been part of almost of of Sandalaks battles.
During her career she was entrusted with becoming the Baroness Yayhan, an outlying but none the less important region of Sandalak. Although the land itself produced little gold and the population was one of the smallest on the island it was home to the fiercest and highest trained infantry on the island. Soon after she was inducted into the Sandalak council, an elite group of high nobles who planned the war effort whose words carried the most weight.
Tojira continued fighting until she was murdered by Castimir during a battle in Korlock. Ironically this battle was probally one of two important battles that determined the islands fate. Although Tojira did die in this battle her sacrifice along with many Sandalakian troops meant that Ikalaks army was heavily depleted so when the main army Sandalakian army approached Ikalak city itself, Ikalak had almost nothing to defend itself with....
They were now outnumbered 20-1, seems we realy must of underestimated them this time Tojira thought while dodging another blade from Castimirs calvary, there was no where to retreat no where to run. Suddenly a blade caught her on the left arm, hissing in pain Tojira turned to see Zack... Curse that Ikalakian he had wounded her before in Abykal. Before she had a chance to defend however a blade from an unknown noble struck into her back. "No this can not be the end, i will not accept this, I am Tojira baraness of Yayhan, i will not let it end like this." Taking out her will out of her pocket she smiled. I will be back someway or another i swear it. Then it was over, the Ikalakians had moved away. Kainaq got up from holding his head in pain, seemed those mumakil were tougher then he had given them credit, he looked around quickly noticing Tojira lieing motionless on the groundwalking up to her he noticed a piece of paper lieing on the floor.
To whoever finds this letter, if you are reading this then i am most likely dead, in which case i ask that i be given a proper burial, even if it is by enemy hands, if you knew me then i ask that you take my place in Sandalak and give hell to whoever killed me.

Kainaq: The last NightStalker. Tojira's personal guardian. Kainaq took Tojira's place after she fell in the battle in korlock. Although not technically of noble blood no one has questioned his place as a noble of Sandalak while he still holds the Strife Family Crest. He has already been involved in a number of battles with Taselak including the assualt on Sandalak city by Taselak forces. This battle realy determined the outcome of the entire war afterwards, had Castimir led to Taselak to attack Ikalak city things may have been very different.

The battle lasted for 4 hours. You have gained 7 Honour and 6 Prestige. You have improved your swordfighting skill. 9 of your men were killed and 7 were wounded in this battle. Morale of your troops falls by 9 points. Your men's equipment suffers 23 % damage. Combat training increases by 8 points. Unit cohesion rises 9 points.
After two months of heavy fighting Taselak were pushed back to there city, from there the siege of Taselak begun. This particuler stage in the war was by far the bloodiest, with the population of Taselak city reduced from 26000 to 2000. The city would not accept any form of takeover and eventually the main Sandalak force began to takover other regions while a small force of nobles fought to keep Taselaks army from growing. Kainaq was one of those who remained. He left Sandalak city with a new unit of 30 calvary man. When he arrived in Taselak he fought non stop for a month claiming 55 victories in a row for the loss of only 8 soldiers. The amount of peasents killed in the calvary charges of this fashion probally mounted in the hundreds, possibly even the thousands. During this time Kainaq was inducted in to Sandalaks council, shortly after the gods declared Sandalak victourious and then the whole island changed.
During the siege of Taselak Kainaq also picked up another record. 55 victories in a row is far higher then any other noble (the previous record was 14). Since he was in the city longer then anyone else during the siege that cant be disputed either by anyone else who was a part of it.
When the South-East Island began a new war Kainaq chose to side with Ikalak in order to protect Korlock, just in case a way to bring Tojira back from the dead was found. During his stay there he has fought in many battles and was appointed Baron of Adrelhia a couple of weeks before Sandalaks inevitable fall after it got itself into a 3 on 1 conflict with the other realms.
Now that Sandalak city has been succesfully been secured by Ikalak; the attention of the war turned to Taselak and in light of this a series of Battlegroups were introduced with Kainaq being named commander of the night Battlegroup. He was also appointed by Moonglum the then current duke of Sandalak to become marshal of the army of Sandalak. From there he has lead a minor skirmishing victory and was part of a much larger battle in Sandalak city when the army of Taselak attempted to attack the walls of Ikalak weilding magical weapons. The Taselakian forces however got lost in a storm and when they did finally find the walls of Sandalak city they were utterly crushed by the Ikalak forces posted there.
