Aleister Stormcrow

Aleister is the oldest child of Sadhwen and Eric Stormcrow. As the names imply the family is celtic from origin and Aleister was teached by his father in the ways of the sword since he was 6 years old. His father always made a big deal about familytraditions and that it is important to remember the ways of the ancient. So he teached him the ways of the druids aswell, what fell on fertile soil in young Aleisters soul. His mother, a diplomate when she was young, teached him that there are sometimes problems a sword cant solve and that a sharp tongue may find a solution a weapon cant find. Well his father disagreed, of course, but he loved his mother just the way he loved his father and so he learned in secret, to write, argue and persuade, just to bring no trouble to the family. This mixture of diplomatic skills and a powerful swordarm made him later a respected and honored member of the little knighthood he was about to lead. When he was 15 a plague hit his families land and many fell just where they stood ... together with his father they used there druidskills to help the peasants but in the end more than 50% died before the strange illness vanished just like it came. His father died aswell while fighting the plague. On his dying bed he took a promise from his son, and Aleister takes this very serious. "Son, come closer ... *cough, cough* ... I will die soon ..." ... "no, father you will heal out, I ..." .. "Be you quiet, your mother teached you well all this years but you cant persuade me ... i am droping off the hooks soon so listen carefully ... *cough* ... behind the cabinet in my room is some stuff for you, I wanted to give it to you personaly when you take the lead here, well it looks like this will happen much earlier than I thought, but I trust that you are ready for this. Its some money, a black leatherarmor and most important a sword, an old one, made by our ancients far behind in the old lands, my father passed it to me and his father to him ... it started coming down the stream of time long before we started settling in this realm ... honor it, make good use of it ... the ancients are with you when you draw it. When we arrived in this land the former Duke gave us this land and the Clan and the Dukes of Kazakh stood side by side in many battles since this time. Sometimes we lost, sometimes we won ... but what ever happend we both always honored this unspoken contract. i want you to honor it aswell ... i ask you to follow the Duke of Kazakh and help him in any way you can. this sword i spoke of, its name is "Beak of the Stormcrow", and it saved the life of more than one duke, more than one time ... follow this path so I can be proud of you when you take the the stygian ferry yourself ... promise, so I can take my last journey in peace" ... "I promise father, its an honor" ... "good, good ... now I can leave with a peacful heart, take care of your brother and sister and help your mother to rule this little knighthood that became the home of the Stormcrow Clan since we hit this coast, when I am gone, please put a silvercoin in my mouth, so I can pay the ferryman ... will you do that?" ... "of course ... *while starting crying* ... I will father, I will" ... then the old man was gone, leaving young Aleister behind with a burden, he didnt know if he ever would be strong enough to take. Two more years he lived with his mother, his brother Fearghal and his sister Caitlin on the familyland. Then the war struck the land and the "Beak of the Stormcrow" was calling him. After offering his oath to the Duke of Kazakh, like he promised, he joined the war against the Islands, where traitors had taken over a realm to spread there seed of poison and treason. He fought many battles at the shore of Stora and in the City of Kalmar to free the lands what gained him respect and friendship amongst the nobles of Old Rancagua. He was the first Marshal of the Fearless Legions and was appointed as High Marshal a little later. After the war was over he stepped down and went for an extended travel only to see that Old Rancagua was in the middle of a war again when he came back and this time the odds where all against his beloved realm. He fought several battles to defend Ashforth against the fontanese traitors and died at 21. February 2008 during the defense of Old Rancaguas Capitol. He died like he lived, upright and with shining eyes and leaves a hole in the clan that hardly anybody can fill.
