Silesian is a family name in Esgalons, Cagilan Empire. The family was started by Merthin. Although the name was first just a nickname (Merthin's homeland was called Silesia), it soon was accepted as a proper family name. The family was expanded when Caris Newell (Merthin's cousin) arrived in Atamanra and took Merthin's nickname as her family name.
