A Tian by Another Name
November 24th Karana Tian, Dame of Dunnbrook, Noble of Caerwyn
First, I would like to welcome all of our readers to the newest newspaper of Dwilight, the Occidens Occasional. I am Karana Tian, former Ambassador of Caerwyn, current Dame of Dunnbrook. Hopefully by the time this issue reaches print I'll be Viscountess Dunnbrook, but who knows? So many elections running in Caerwyn right now it's almost a wonder how the bureaucracy keeps up! But then again, bureaucracy IS one of the few things that is capable of making more of itself with no outside influence.

Anyways, a bit about the newspaper and my goals. After the death of my father, Zanaras Tian, I inherited a number of his things; to include the entire original collection of the Lurian Weekly issues and the printing equipment the Poryatown Press had one time owned. I have decided I would put it to good use again, by creating this newspaper. My goal is to publish at least one issue a month, with no more than one standard issue a week. For any major events or special occasions we'll run special issues outside the normal printing schedule.

And yes, the title of this particular article is a tribute to my father. Father, if you're still out there, Thank You.

New Ambassador of Caerwyn
24 November 2010 Karana Tian, Noble of Caerwyn
Baal Zephon Beldragos, Archon of Caerwyn, Viscount of Grazne, Marshal of the Heavy Strikers Group has promoted Ereia Stormwind, to ambassador of the realm.

Or so the town criers decreed nearly a day ago. For those of you who don't know, Ereia Stormwind is the niece of Former Archon Khephera Stormwind. I can only guess that politics run in the family. Nonetheless, I wish her luck in taking over my position as Ambassador of Caerwyn, and wish her the best of luck in the career. On that note, her first task is to reopen relations with Asylon.

Lordships, Lordships, Lordships
24 November 2010 Karana Tian, Noble of Caerwyn
I have come to notice something about Caerwyn. Whenever there is one vacant title, two more will normally follow not long after. Case in point, first the Earl of Walefishire is caught breaking into his own tax offices. He is promptly arrested by the guards. The State Purser and High Magistrate have both found no wrong doing on the Earl's part, but I do believe that a replacement of the guard is in order in Walefishire.

This is followed by both the Viscount of Dunnbrook and Viscountess of Knyazes mysteriously vanishing into the night. I've heard rumors that the Former Viscount of Dunnbrook has in fact been spotted in the last couple days though, but not before the beaurucracy took his Lordship away due to "inactivity". I wonder what that means anyways... Did he not hold court enough? Did he not count the tax income quickly enough? Maybe he didn't inspect the guard as closely as he should've!
