Massey Family

The Massey Family originates in the region of Remton, and as such the Family is, as a whole, very loyal to the realm. Currently both sons of the main branch serve in the Arcaean Military as Knights, thanks to a recent increase in the families fundings.

=== History === Goffrey was born in the region of Saex, during a trip to the families country home. Goffrey spent most of his boyhood at the country house, out in the woods hunting, fishing, and pretending to be a knight leading his troops to glory. His rather uneventful life took a turn when he reached the pivotal age of 17 and he announced his, and his younger brother's, intention to join the Military. He was offered Knightship of Saex along with a small estate. He accepted the offer, as the prospect of serving his childhood home filled him with determination and patriotism. His career couldn't have started at a better time, as the war with Sartania and Ethilia had rekindled once again. He fought in the first battle of Nocaneb where he was wounded by the overwhelming enemy numbers. He managed to recover, and retreat with dignity alongside the rest of the army back to regroup in Remton. With the military action settling down for the moment, Goffrey took to managing his Estate, and with skillful management and determination, it grew into a very large and productive estate. Eventually the war stirred up again, and Sartania set its sights on the region of Saex. Battles raged acrossed the region, and Goffrey, as well as the other Nobles of Arcaea, rose to the occasion repelling wave after wave of invading forces from Sartanian boarders, even taking the fight to them under the command of his Lord Santoro Thyme. After a successful raid in the region of Mraulaxon Goffrey attained the status of a Hero. Currently Goffrey is returning to Saex to defend an encroaching Ethilian invasion force.
