Kinsey Family

The Kinseys are a family of wealthy merchants. Their ancestral estate sits in Oyonniarre.

When the Cagilan Empire briefly took custody of the Carelian region, the family was offered a validation of its old claim to nobility in exchange for a pledge of military service from one its sons. The family gladly took the offer and sent its eldest son Enri to fight for the Cagilan Empire.

Demetre is the oldest daughter of the family. She was disowned when she eloped with a disreputable ship captain. The couple was last seen sailing away from Atamara. Her current whereabouts is unknown.

Enri is the oldest son of the family. A quiet, studious boy in his youth, Enri has grown to become an outspoken and assertive noble in the Cagilan Empire. He is a knight of Calis, and is currently the Second-in-Command of the Army of Calis Lions.

Francis is the younger son of the family. A restless, impish boy in his youth, his family had wanted him to join the priesthood, where he would hopefully lose his more impulsive tendencies. However, after the elder family members where unable to come to agreement over the family's "official" religion, they took up Enri's recommendation: Francis was sent to fight for Minas Ithil.
