Current Affairs

Celine is currently adjusting to life away from home, and she is hoping to carve out a life for herself in the Far East, far away from her parents. Still, she hopes to see her brother, and with him, Argo, again.

History

Growing up as a girl in a family that lived by the sword takes its toll. Celine was never raised for war, although she was extremely effective with a sword due to her blood. Her father focused on breeding his oldest son, Jet, for war. And he did not think that woman were supposed to participate in battle, no matter how good they might be. It was a mans job, and it always would be. Her mother was of the same conviction, thought that women should be raised to support their husband, and provide him with whatever he may need.

Her fathers disregard for her abilities, combined with her mothers pamperous indoctrination of her into womanhood, caused Celine to become quite rebellious. At the age of 13, she had taken on a habit of not paying for anything, and was becoming quite well versed in the art of thievery. She did not become involved in any sort of guild, but she did run into trouble with the local thieves, as they did not care much for a rich kid stealing their marks. They never caught her, and neither did the guards.

But her parents did not, either. Her mother still forced her into corsets and filled her head with make-up, and her father drilled Jet contiunously. No matter how accomplished she got as a thief, it would not matter to her parents. Had they found out, their punishment would have been severe.

She still trained herself in combat, whenever her brother was not using the grounds. Her fascination of weapons and blood had not diminished while her love with the night grew. But she had also realised that there were other feelings growing in her.

A New Beginning

12th of November, 2006

She had arrived. The rural region she had landed in, Erahol, had not been much of a sight. Few cities, a small force of militia patrolling the street, and a fort. But it was not home, and she could not help being excited. Getting to the Far East had been a dangerous journey, and although she missed her brother and his servant, there was no way she could get to South-East Island now. She had to make the most of it, but her confidence was in order. The men she had with her might not be very disciplined, but if her plans would succeed, she would not have use for them for very long.
