Lynsey Habap is an archery troop leader in Taselak. She has earned 48 honour and 20 prestige.

Early on, Lynsey spent much of her time travelling back and forth, training her unit, the Latvian Arms, while aiding in the takeovers in Gwohadda and Rhic for Taselak. Unfortunately, she spent so much energy training that she had to march back to Taselak twice to repair armor and missed two battles in Gwohadda.

Due to misunderstanding her orders, Lynsey led the Latvian Arms into Gwohadda, defeating and wounding Sirion, Knight of Dwamon, Sandalak, and chasing off his Razors Edge unit of 20 archers. With the Sandalak Army sure to descend at any moment, Lynsey worried that her luck would not hold. The Sandies did, in fact, descend en masse and half of the Latvian Arms met their doom. Lynsey rallied her troops and marched to Sandalak with the rest of the Taselakian Army. Unfortunately, she was severely wounded in that battle. After recovering, she gathered her unit, filled it out to capacity and is back in the field with the Army. Rumors of another large battle in Sandalak had her quite excited, and she moved with the Army in outlying regions, anticipating the big battle. After another refit in Taselak, Lynsey marched on Sandalak with the Army, participating without loss in the successful assault. After helping hold the ruins of Sandalak for a while, Lynsey took the Latvian Arms to Gwohadda, site of their earlier stand against the Razors Edge and asked them to stand as militia.

Latvian Arms become militia

Shaking hands with Tyrol, her right hand while she commanded the Latvian Arms, Lynsey tried to smile. Tyrol commented, "Tis a bit dusty out here on the plains, milady." He wiped tears from his eyes.
"We shall make you proud."
Stiffening, she sniffled and said, "I know you will, Tyrol. I know you will."
She turned, mounted her horse and rode off, knowing she had done the right thing, but sad nonetheless.

The rise of the Longarms

Lynsey recruited a new unit, The Longarms, whose range should exceed that of their enemies. She appointed a strong young woodsman, Swaggart, as their Sergeant, and let him know that she expected great things from some heavy training. Lynsey accepted an appointment to the Heavy Strikers Group (HSG) and fought in battles in Endelee, Astin and Endelee again. The Longarms have proven themselves great fighters, but at serious cost to themselves, losing more than 80% of their men in the three battles.

Lynsey watched as her Sergeant, Swaggart, strode among the new men. Swaggart stopped in front of one particularly tall and broad-shouldered archer.
"Where you from, bwah?" he barked.
The startled archer replied, "Dwamon, suh!"
"Theyuhz awnly two things come from Dwaaaymon: ste-ahs and que-ahs. I don' see no horns on you, bwah!"
Lynsey restrained a chuckle as the recruits bristled. Swaggart turned the squad and began marching them up and down the parade ground. These new men were not battle-hardened, but she had seen them at the archery range. They simply didn't miss. The Longarms were being expanded, but certainly not diluted. She knew that they would help avenge the death of the Iron Lady and that comforted her weary heart.
Despite her short years, Lynsey had already seen more fighting than either of her brothers, and won renown at that. Her raven tresses framed a face that sprung many a farmhand from the fields to the drill field, but war had added a distance and a reserve to her eyes. She ran her hand through her hair, adjusted her armor and slowly ambled to her quarters, knowing rest was among her greatest needs, whatever horrors might live in her dreams...

Marching through newly acquired regions, Lynsey and the Longarms fought many small battles against militia, peasants and guerillas. Their cohesion as a unit increased, the old men and the new feeling that they had become simply brothers in arms.

Latvian Arms hold Gwohaddah

Reading of the Battle in Gwohadda, Lynsey worried. How would Tyrol and the Latvian Arms fare at the hands of the Ikalakans? As she read through the account, she rejoiced to realize that Taselakians outnumbered their opponents five-fold and beat them handily. Tyrol and his militia mates had proven their mettle once again. Gwohadda was safe... for now.

Ikalakan incursion

Lynsey and the Longarms set out with many of the other leaders in the Heavy Striker's Group, including the new King, Cronos. Two battles in Moeth helped hone the Longarms further. As they moved forward to beat off the ravaging hordes, Lynsey was justifiably proud of them.
