Guardians of the Magical Herbs/Cannabis in combat

Part I

Soulreaver was walking through a small meadow in lacint that bordered a small forest when he saw a fire with a lot of smoke. When he came near the fire a familiar smell came over him, this was the smell of the wonderful herbs of Norkje. But he thought somebody was smoking it but then he saw that somebody just burned a huge pile on a small fire. He knew who did this, his brother judge of Avalon. He didn’t punish or fine the men who had herbs with them but confiscated them nonetheless and as Soulreaver could see he knew what happened to the confiscated herbs.

He was about to go to the fire when he saw the tress moving a couple off 100 meters in front of him. He quickly took cover to see what was happening. Moments later a huge undead fighter came out of the bushes and when he smelled the burning herbs he quickly made a loud shout. Almost immediately after the undead had shouted a second undead appeared both were 2 times as big as Soulreaver and much stronger then the undead he usually saw. The undead did something very strange they both went to the fire and sat next to it. Soulreaver decided he was going to try and sneak up on the 2 undead while they were concentrated by the fire. He carefully saw he sneaked up to the monsters without having the wind up his back because all of these undead could smell you coming half a mile away if you had the wind in your back. He was sneaking towards the undead and everything was fine they didn’t seem to notice him.

Suddenly the odds were against him because the wind changed so the undead could smell him but to his surprise they staid at the fire and didn’t do anything. So he decided to keep going and he arrived at their back and truck down the first one with one blow of his mighty sword. The second undead jumped up but almost fell down again. Soulreaver was surprised because he never saw an undead act so weird, the undead tried to attack him but Soulreaver easily jumped away and the undead acted very slow. Soulreaver couldn’t understand why he was acting this way. He quickly killed the undead with great ease.

After the short battle Soulreaver was thinking about how he won so easily against such strong undead. Then he knew the answer the fumes from the herbs. It must have affected them like that they could smell nothing else when they were around the fumes of the burned herbs and that the fumes made their response time much slower. That also explains why that second undead almost fell when he jumped up. Soulreaver went straight to the general and try to convince him that they could use the herbs in battle to fight the monsters after that he rushed through the trees on his way to Norkje.
