Golrug is impulsive, reckless, and fierce, leading his Greataxe-toting Viking warriors from the front; this explains the scar down down his right arm, from shoulder to elbow.

His stint as Banker was short, but he became region lord of Uforth and then an elder priest in the Hörgr of Makar.
He received a command from the gods to go to Beluterra for battle, and left everything to move to Riombara.
