On the Relations between Realm and Faith

Proposer: Moira Dubhaine Second: Richard Telrunya

1. All faiths are legal so long as they do not undermine the peace of the realm; 2. Priests of any lawful faith, so long as they are nobles of Fontan, are free to preach throughout Fontan without the permission of local Lords; 3. These same priests may establish shrines wherever they wish within Fontan; 4. Temples and shrines of lawful faiths will not be dismantled except by their lawful owners - i.e. the faith with built them; 5. Lords who follow a lawful faith may construct temples in their regions without restriction; 6. Until priests who are not nobles of Fontan receive permission from the Supreme Justice to preach within Fontan they are forbidden from doing so and both they and their Church will be liable for censure; 7. Even once granted such dispensation, foreign priests can be barred from any region by its lawful Lord; 8. In case of dispute the Supreme Justice will make the ultimate decision as to whether or not a faith has become unlawful after consultation with this Assembly.

Proposer: Requiem Rai Seconder: Murat Kalkandelen

Should The Flow of the Balance be Fontan's national religion? Fontan's national religion has preaching rights in every region flying Fontan flag, other religions need permission by the region lord for preaching rights. Vote Yes if you think it should be, Vote No if you do not.
