January 29

Day, Ciarin Tut

The people here are welcoming enough, only a few shied away at my visit. A few silver here, a couple copper there, and they seemed to have no problem with my presence. The lands here seem to be mainly broad, flat plains. By my estimate, you'd need atleast thirty or so men in order to impress your beliefs on the peasantry. Judging by the construction of the buildings, I'd say there's around 200 gold to be picked through at tax day and the locals produce about 400 bushels.

Interestingly, though, there seems to be a very unique bridge in the southwest. More of a natural rock formation than a bridge. Long ago the oceans carved out a passage big enough for sea faring ships, and somewhere between now and then someone had the genius to reinforce the thing. I'd have hated to be one of the workmen on that project though, suspended a hundred or more feet in the air. Judging by the shape of the cliff side, there was once a walkway to the bottom that has long since worn away. The locals seemed to have a name for this bridge, the Udor Tut Crossing.

To the north a large inland lake can be seen, the shores stretching out of sight. This lake I have seen from Nid Tek as well. I'll leave the nobility to name it though. Within the day I'll have seen all three shores of this water.
