Askileon was the second city to come under Pian en Luries control. Shortly after Lady le Fois was gifted the title Duchess Askileon, and Askileon Purlieus and Santoo became vassals of the Duchess.

The Poryatown Press was founded and funded by Zanaras Tian, after taking an oath with the Duchess she became patron. Building the first of the Poryatown Press halls in Askileon.
It is also here at the Poryatown Press that the Lurien Weekly is published for all its avid readers.
