Background:

The House de Haguns was born through iron and fire in the badlands of the Perdan Mines. Originally pioneer miners in the region, they amassed enough wealth to become distinguished amongst the common folk of Pendar. It's not easy to define precisely when the first Haguns ascended to nobility, but the House has been well established in the badlands for many generations.

The noble House of Haguns is not known for their warrior, lords or grand achievements, but as traders and landowners hailing from lands between the mines of Aurocastrum and the town port of Pelasgia. Keeping far away from Perdanese politics and petty squabbles, the Haguns expanded their economical influence from the mining business to winemaking. The Haguns port wine, initially considered of inferior quality, is slowly gaining the palate of local nobility.

Recently, the Haguns family was awarded the estate of Pelasgia, in the Perdan Mines, after the disappearance of it's former governor, Sir Rogos V'Orlan. Sir Orpheu de Haguns rules the small port town in Earl Joreb deLacy's stead.

Across the ocean, in the continent of Dwilight, Furiae arrived at Tol Goldora with the Perdanese Free Company, running away from a marriage she did not wish. There, the young girl was awarded the Stronghold Precint in the capital of Goldenfarrow, which she rules in Duke Solomon Greybrook's stead.
