Chapel

Commonly known as shrines in other faiths, these small buildings can vary from a conversion of a simple home or a purpose-built structure. They serve local communities, known formally as parishes, and led by a non-ordained Deacon in day to day services. The buildings themselves typically consist of little more than an altar and several pews.

Basilica

While all other types of temples have some sort of requirement based on its size or layout, the title of Basilica is awarded only by the Arch Clericy to denote a place of worship that has some sort of great spiritual or historical significance to the Church. They frequently serve as pilgrimage sites due to their importance.

Archbasilica

Though a basilica is a temple recognized especially for its importance to the Church, the Archbasilica is the recognized seat of the Church's government, and more directly, where the Throne of Light (or Throne of the Sun depending on translation) sits. It is from here that the Arch Cleric serves as Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church. Currently no one temple to the Divine has been formally restored to this honor, though such is traditionally held by Perdan City.
