The Cagilan Citizen was created to compete with another Cagilan newspaper that never came to be. Since it is the only Cagilan newspaper, it no longer competes for realm dominance, but for continental dominance. I, Sephirah, had longed planned a Cagilan newspaper, but was always too busy tending to Alaise, leading men into battles, holding the fort while everyone else recruited, running for Prime Minister and more. An unauthorized issue was issued two years later. It was distributed under the name of Cagilan Citizen and is considered by some to be part of the series. It is not considered to be part of the newspaper's issues by the family of Sephirah Bishamon due to its lack of authorization and poor representation of culture through its illiterate writing.
