Wampa edited the Fortification page today leaving aload of HTML code rubbish in the Wiki Code. Spambot or something shady. User should probably be deleted for being a pain... - Revan March 8, 2006 21:37 (CET)

Many of the things explained throughout the BM wiki pages use mathematical formulea to explain them. Economics is a good example.  Its natural to want to do so because so many things in BM are determined by mathematics. The players are not aware of the mathematics involving in the coding, of course, but many have speculated, and the search for the truth makes for interesting debates. However, we don't have any of the clever tools to display our formulea like many other wikis do. I would like to see TeX implemented, or some other typesetting system. Is that possible? -- Cheever 22:24 Oct 28, 2006 (GMT +4)

We could use a few editor comments to resolve the argument over "VERY IMPORTANT: NOTHING IN THIS PAGE WILL BE CHANGED, BUT THE RECORDS THEMSELVES. IF YOU HAVE SUGGESTIONS OR WHATEVER, POST A COMMENT IN THE TALK PAGE." (appears at the top of Records of BattleMaster.

This is a very minor point, but I noticed two small spelling mistakes in the 'Inalienable Rights' page; since it is (quite rightly) protected, I can't change them so I thought I ought to tell you guys.

Both appear under the subtitle 'How to Act', under 'More Details'. The first is 'Some of the worst events of both human history and in BattleMaster where [should be 'were'] done by people with good intentions.' The second is 'If some player explicitly asks for your advise [should be 'advice'].

Election Page
Should either be deleted and made into a redirect to Manual/Elections, or completely reworked. It is severely out of date (voting is not an inalienable right and I think some of the plaxces where you can vote and be voted in needs work). I recommend the first, and if you need any help for work with the second, leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --The1exile 21:41, 28 July 2006 (CEST)

: I tend to agree that election is outdated. Would you merge them and then turn election into a redirect. --Nicholas 16:00, 29 July 2006 (CEST)

Another, separate request that somone look at the Suville page. It's a double redirect, but the region page is filed under realm, not continent, which I don't think is right. --The1exile 01:43, 29 July 2006 (CEST)

: It looks like all of Abington's regions are subpages of Abington. Also a problem is that it looks like :Template:Region is kind of ugly. But Abington has a lot of regions. If you want to move all the ones that you can to be subpages of Atamara, and make a list for me of all the ones you can't move because the destination already exists, I'll delete and move those to finish. I hope that makes sense. --Nicholas 16:00, 29 July 2006 (CEST)

::Bleh, looks like I've spanmmed the recent changes log. A few pages can't be moved; Abington/Riverholm and Abington/Ash'rily have their own content, and IMO look much better. Should I go through and change the pages with Template:Region to Template:Infobox_Regions? --The1exile 16:17, 29 July 2006 (CEST)

:::If you think it will look better go for it. You don't need my permission. --Nicholas 16:35, 29 July 2006 (CEST)

::::I'm going to leave it for now, at least until someone sorts the Abington pages out, as the Minas Ithil Colony is in control of several reregions and it will take a long time to sort the region numbers. --The1exile 16:49, 29 July 2006 (CEST)

I recently constructed all the regions belonging to Minas Ithil which previously doesn't exist (only 1 or 2 were there) using the Template:Infobox_Regions eg. Atamara/Shanandoah which I took from Redspan and ASI region pages. Just wondering if it's ok to fix Abington's pages formatting to standardize it with the region pages in general. (since I'm not part of that realm). Slchan0 09:17, 4 August 2006 (CEST)

: You can "fix" anything. That's the point of a wiki. If someone  dislikes your "fix", they can fix it back. Take a few moments to consider whether your change will improve the page, then go for it. The only real exception is that it would usually be rude edit another player's character page. And vandalism is, of course, not OK. --Nicholas 06:44, 6 August 2006 (CEST)

Formulea

Many of the things explained throughout the BM wiki pages use mathematical formulea to explain them. Economics is a good example. Its natural to want to do so because so many things in BM are determined by mathematics. The players are not aware of the mathematics involving in the coding, of course, but many have speculated, and the search for the truth makes for interesting debates. However, we don't have any of the clever tools to display our formulea like many other wikis do. I would like to see TeX [1] implemented, or some other typesetting system. Is that possible? -- Cheever 22:24 Oct 28, 2006 (GMT +4)

There is a MediaWiki extension fo TeX, I think. Maybe several. Find a nice MediaWiki extension we can use, and I'll think about it. --Tom 16:47, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
