The Barony of Sale was founded during the disintegration of the Barony of Icegate towards the end of the reign of Falcon Hawk. In a seeming act of friendship, neighbouring Hasland aided BoI in swiftly crushing the upstart BoS. However, Hasland decided to keep the lands of Sale for herself leading to a new and exhaustive war between Icegate and the formidable empire of Hasland.
