The Map of the Barony

The Barony of Makar is a realm situated in the extreme, frozen north of Atamara where the scent of meads, ales, and blood are often on the air and drunken songs on the subjects of violence, women, and gold can often be heard in the frigid wind. The Barony of Makar is inhabited entirely by Vikings, a few madmen, and a decent batch of badgers, yetis, and other assorted creatures. The Barony has a long and rich history of conflict and comradery. Each and every Vikings has, in their blood, a never ending desire for looting, pillaging, burning, and related activities. From birth to death (and perhaps even once they are in Valhalla) a Viking has an unsatiable thirst for gold.

• The BoM is in a Federation with Norland and is allied with the Ash Sea Islands, Falasan, Minas Ithil, and Eston.
• Our most recent war was with Eston (and for a part, Talerium). After a long and bloody conflict Eston surrendered and they were allowed to enter into an alliance with the Barony once again.
• Icegate is our capital, with Makar and Sale being our most important cities.
• We are a tyranny, and Sordnaz is our Dictator

• The Barony of Makar is home to the warrior guild, The Warriors of Valhalla. The Warriors dedicate themselves to living life in battle and many hope to die in battle to secure their place in Valhalla.
