Barony of Makar

The Barony of Makar is a realm situated in the extreme, frozen north of Atamara where the scent of meads, ales, and blood are often on the air and drunken songs on the subjects of violence, women, and gold can often be heard in the frigid wind. The Barony of Makar is inhabited entirely by Vikings, a few madmen, and a decent batch of badgers, yetis, and other assorted creatures. The Barony has a long and rich history of conflict and comradery. Each and every Vikings has, in their blood, a never ending desire for looting, pillaging, burning, and related activities. From birth to death (and perhaps even once they are in Valhalla) a Viking has an unsatiable thirst for gold.

• The BoM is allied with Norland. They are our brothers-in-arms, we stand together in all things. We are Vikings, they are a sort of Vikings.
• Eston is our sworn enemy. They betrayed us in the past, and now we go on raiding missions to attack and destroy them. We've killed thousands of their peasents, destroyed hundreds of villages, scarred their landscape, and stolen thousands of pieces of gold. We are also at war with Talerium. They come from a sandy place where no viking goes unless on a quest for golds.
