The Astonishing Ring of Willpower was discovered by an adventurer of Perdan, who offered the ring to the Duke of Partora, ][osferatu Reapers. Duke Reapers accepted the ring, but immediately gave it to Clarissa Yorke, former Queen of Perdan and current Marshal of Perdan's Murderous Wrath. ][osferatu is also the sponsor of PMW.
Duke Reapers stated, in private to Clarissa, that "as the leader of PMW you deserve something that will make you stand out in the battlefield."
Though Clarissa has always felt her sword and daggers were enough to make her stand out on the battlefield, she accepted the very generous gift from ][osferatu, a man she has had great respect for on and off the battlefield.
Ellyn Coquard of Luria Nova in Dwilight is in possesion of an Astonishing Ring of Willpower as of Nov 2015.
