Arylon Family/Roddick

Roddick approached the grand city of Osaliel, mounted upon his black steed - Silverfire. As he saw the spires in the distance, a smile crossed his face. He had arrived home again, finally.

It had been roughly 15 years since last he called this place home. His mother had died in childbirth, and when he was 10 years old, his father Caven was killed in battle during a foreign campaign leaving him without a family. His uncle, Mannix Arylon arrived in Osaliel and took him to live amongst his family on the continenet of Atamara.

Mannix, however, was killed himself a few years ago and since then Roddick has been wandering many lands, on many continents on a pilgrimage to learn what he could about the many people of the world. Word had recently reached him from an old friend asking him to return to his childhood home, apparently he had been injured in combat and was close to death.

Roddick, had begun to recently feel that he had absorbed all that he could from his travels, and decided to take this as a sign that it was time to return home. Upon landing on the continent, he spent a great deal of time on the coastal regions recruiting some men to form a cohesive unit of horsemen - then set off for Osaliel, to see his old friend, and pledge his sword to Sir Conan, Prime Minister of Soliferum.

The wind whistled through his ears as he noticed he was almost upon the city. His mind had wandered a bit recounting his journey - he had barely realized that he had covered so much ground.
