Argent Order/Timeline

The Argent Order does not operate on the regular date system used by most Dwilight scholars. Instead it operates on what is referred to within the faith as the Imperial system, a date system in which the years are split into ages, each age lasting a quarter century. The ages were originally named by the Imperial monarch that resided during the transition to the next age. Since the Empire as it was known has long since fallen, the names of the Ages are now decided by the Four Archons of the Argent Order who presided at that time. Should the vote be a draw, a notable faith member will be called upon to decide.

What is important to remember however, is that the Argent Order was initially formed just before a great advent of Chaos across the lands. Thusly they historically have a very military oriented faith. They train many of their own troops, field many of their own legions, and the faith controls vast sections of land that had been reclaimed from daemon forces; much to the annoyance of other faiths.

The Age of Blood

The Age of Blood is the earliest age to be recorded within the Silver Tome. The Argent Order was originally founded a couple ages before this by the first Silver Archon Telani. The Second Silver Archon, Traeus, was made leader just prior to the transition to the Age of Blood.

• August 9th, Year 17: Silver Archon Traeus, while leading the Wardens, is slain in battle against the forces of Chaos. It is said that the daemons hordes went straight for him in the battle, cutting straight through Warden and Imperial Border Patrol lines in order to take him out. While the Wardens did in fact win the day, the loss of the Silver Archon dealt a heavy blow to morale.
• September 15th, Year 17: Archon of the Sword, General of the Wardens, Vesuvius is chosen to replace the fallen Traeus. His first act as Silver Archon is to decrease the faith's reliance on the Imperial Border Patrol by increasing the pay and allotments allowed for Wardens, nearly doubling the number the faith is able to support.
• May 3rd, Year 20: Warden's Keep falls under siege of the Third Imperial Division under command of Duke Reggar, a believer of the Ordo Concilium.
• June 6th, Year 20: A state of civil war is officially declared by Empress Zalia.
• July 29th, Year 20: The siege of Warden's Keep is lifted by the Eight Army out of Varus, under command of Duke Warrington of Varus, Former General of the Imperial Border Patrol.
