Hey it's Shenron, the really unpopular player that people hate because I always make meta mistakes giving the editors a hard time but don't worry I think I'm grasping the wiki.....I think.....

Anyway in battlemaster what I have always noticed is people doing un-noble-like actions that in medieval times would be quit strange or would get you killed or executed instantly. So I've decided to make a whole page about kings and such. If any of you think is one of my other "stupid useless pages" don't talk to me about it because it hurts my feelings. Just delete it =) or if you want to make a change don't talk to me about it just do it.

Now I think I'll do this in categories. In each section I'll put a certain type of noble (or peasant) and say how you should react to them, address them and so on but first of all I'll give a quick table on how to address people simply.

Type of Person Address
Ruler Your Highness/Your Majesty/Sire
Personal Lord My Lord
Lord Lord "Somebody"
Knight Sir "Somebody"
Nobles Not Necessary

Rulers

Rulers are at the top. They are always the top person. Unlike all other ranks rulers have types, e.g. King/Queen, Chancellor Pontifex etc. With these differences in Rulerships comes very very different levels of treatment.

Monarchs

In real history Kings and Queens are unquestionable. They are very high. In Battlemaster I see a lot of people disrespecting the Monarch and the Monarch giving an explanation. That is extremely unrealistic. A Monarch would most likely have you tried and maybe executed. Even questioning the Monarch about something personal would be extremely stupid and the king would maybe fine you/take your position away from you.

A Monarch will always be addressed with Your Highness or your Majesty or at least Sire. A thing I see in battlemaster a lot is just saying the Monarchs name and the monarch not really noticing. In real medieval times not addressing a monarch properly would be extremely rude and the monarch would get very offended.
