A young and naive commander, this individual is the first son of "Fungeiton", Illidan was born in Strombran and has high hopes of attaining the power he feels he is destined to control.

His name "Illidan" was given to him by his farther, who after reading stories of the great misunderstood warrior "Illidan Stormrage", a night elf who sacrificed his life and soul to help prevent the demons of the Burning Legion from consuming their world.

Upon hearing that a son of Fungeiton had been named and dedicated to Illidan Stormrage, several attempts were made on the child's life however all were unsuccessful. However, when Illidan was 6 years old, word spread that he wished to follow in the footsteps of the mighty warrior whose name he bore. Upon hearing this news, a wealthy noble - afraid Fungeiton could use his son to gain control over his domain - hired a band of mercenaries to assassinate Illidan and destroy his family's home.

However, a spy gave of the imminent attack and Illidan was placed in an empty ale barrel destined for Corniel in the realm of Falasan. Meanwhile, Fungeiton stayed behind with his wife and their 8 guards to protect their fortified manor house. A battle ensued which at first was favouring the Raynor family. Of the 18 assassins sent, 5 were killed by arrow fire on approach to the manor house and 2 more were killed by stones thrown as they tried to scale the walls with a ladder during which time only 2 Raynor guards had succumb to arrow fire. Eventually, the walls were scaled and in the fierce hand-to-hand combat which followed, Fungeiton, his wife and the remaining 4 guards were killed.

Illidan however had escaped and some time later he successfully reached Corniel. Still being hunted by the forces of his father's rival, he was discovered wandering the streets and taken under the wing of a sympathetic local noble who continued Illidan’s education in the ways of combat until his coming of age at 17.

Since his arrival in Corniel, Illidan has shown great loyality to his adopted realm and hopes to earn his fame, fortune and most importantly, power, by banquishing the enemies of Falasan from Atamara.
