Courier Revived?
10 November 2010 (Kazakh) by Random editor #3
There has been much excitement at the news that the courier has been revived. "We are not sure yet, we will see how it goes. Please don't look at me like at that" Came the answer of editor Sir Joseph Ironheart.
My First Act as Grand Vezir
16 November 2010 (Oroya) by Grand Vezir Leandros Galvez, Baron of Pedrera
A flow of infiltrators, assassins and other criminals are send by Sirion to bring chaos to the lands of the Sultan. They burn, loot and rape, or worse, they try to assassinate the great nobles of Asena. That must stop now, and this morning Brand Mithridates was banished from the Sultanate of Asena for the failed assassination attempt on the life of Dagnarus Fox Fangs (Knight of Pucallpa). Mithridates is a young man, and not as experienced as some of the other infiltrators of Sirion, but I am delighted with the first act of banishment this soon after my appointed to the office of Grand Vezir. But I am still waiting for the first infiltrator who shall be executed by my hand, to set as example to all the vermin from the Elven Republic!
Westmoor Elected New King
6 November 2010 (Salta) by Joseph Ironheart, Knight of Pedrera
Westmoor has elected Jor Tanos as it's new sovereign with 18% of the vote. The election came shortly after King Corwin stepped down. We wish to offer our congratulations to the new king, and wish him luck at his new job.
Battles of Seize
14 November 2010 (Oroya) by Grand Vezir Leandros Galvez, Baron of Pedrera
The Iron Wolves of Asena marched on and cleared Sermbar from a small unit of the Republic of Sirion. Together with Fontan they dominated the countryside, and Pasha Viseslav Stublic, Baron of Obando ordered to loot the lands. The merciful Pasha showed sympathy for the peasantry as he took them under his wing when he specific ordered not to kill or rape the inhabitants of Sermbar. But Sirion was not amused and came with a counter-attack. The Iron Wolves of Asena prepared the defence together with Tanya Jimenez, Vice-Marshal of the Sultanate's Striking Fury, but tasted defeat. And the forces of Fontan we accompanied the defence in Sermbar were without leadership, but not surprising as Commonyr was overrun by fast numbers of Sirion (850 men vs. 1370 men). Fontan required all their nobles in the defence of their own lands. But again, the Elven Republic turned out as the victor for the second time today. But not all is lost. Small forces in the Sultanate cleared our lands from all Sirion troops when they gained victory in Caqueta. Time to refit and return with greater strength. Lets show them what we are made of.
Aulus Severus Elected Chancellor!
5 November 2010 (Caqueta) by Joseph Ironheart, Knight of Pedrera
Lord Aulus Severus has been elected new Chancellor of Fontan. He succeeds Chancellor Zadek Dragul, who served fontan in that post for a considerable time. We wish the best of luck to the new Chancellor, as well prosperity to our friends in Fontan.
New Grand Vezir!
9 November 2010 (Kazakh) by Joseph Ironheart, Knight of Pedrera
This evening, the Sultanate has commemorated the appointment of a new Grand Vezir. Lord Leandros Galvez was chosen for the post, after Lord Viper Snake has stepped down. There are many hopes for the new judge. Some words from the Grand Vezir himself, Lord Leandros Galvez: "Every infiltrator who enters my dungeons will receive a swift and firm punishment. I shall be without mercy for those assassins. And they will know my name and they shall fear it!" And the courier wishes to take this chance to thank the former Grand Vezir for his past services as judge of Asena.
