The Duel Between a Former Foreign King and an Overconfident Marshal

During the time of expansion to the rogue lands, Marshal Zile of the Crimson Blade challenged Samuel, the Ruler of Myern, recently removed from his throne, to a duel in Giask. The fierce fight resulted in the defeat of the Marshal, as King Samuel wounded him rather seriously. At the time this incident created quite a lot of discussion and controversy. The reasons behind the duel are not, to this day, entirely clear.
