It seems the new workers are not workers at all but slave drivers. The workers are pushed to their limits and paid even less than I paid them starting out. I have heard tale of some trying to quit but they were dealt with behind closed doors. What a vile man this Jork is. I wish I would've been more prepared for something like this. I wish I would have put back more money to care for my family. I wish I were strong enough to fight back. | It seems the new workers are not workers at all but slave drivers. Chickadee Rug Labors
...
25th Day of Spring
I hired a new worker today. He came in claiming to be a relative of someone who had worked here before. His name is Jork.
...
35th Day of Spring
Jork is turning out to be a great worker. Rug sales have increased 20% since he started and production has increased 30%. At this rate I will be able to stockpile rugs. The other workers really seem to have taken quickly to Jork.
...
2nd Day of Summer
Jork publicly disagreed with my decision today. If he does this again I will be forced to fire him no matter how much he has helped.
3rd Day of Summer
Again, Jork has humiliated me! I will not tolerate this. I will fire him first thing in the morning.
4th Day of Summer
I came to work today dead set on firing Jork for his lack of respect in the workplace only to find he had convinced the other workers to leave me and steal all our equipment and supplies. I will be ruined.
'5th Day of Summer
I found where Jork and the other workers had moved to. I went there to try and talk sense into the other workers and hope that they saw this Jork for what he really was. It was of no use. They seemed smitten with his charisma. I tried to fight the man but my old fists hurt him none.
17th Day of Summer
I have heard that Jork has brought in several new workers, men he knew before starting at my shop.
20th Day of Summer
It seems the new workers are not workers at all but slave drivers. The workers are pushed to their limits and paid even less than I paid them starting out. I have heard tale of some trying to quit but they were dealt with behind closed doors. What a vile man this Jork is. I wish I would've been more prepared for something like this. I wish I would have put back more money to care for my family. I wish I were strong enough to fight back.
