The Sanctus Diam
Symbol of the Parti

Omnis Patri is a religion which revolves around the worships of the Parti, and there word be spread by their Priors, who claim that the Parti are the creators of all life in the universe.

History

No history yet.

Beliefs

The Parti are deities that live in Celestis. To mankind, the Parti present themselves as one entity, but Celestis counts many Parti, although their actual number is unknown. They do not reveal themselves to any life on the lower planes of existence, and their ways are mysterious and unfathomable. The Parti are the creators of all life. We are the children of the Parti.

Celestis

When they created the universe, the Parti created Celestis. Celesitis is the divine realm of the Parti, and after the creation of Delmak, it also became the final resting place for mortal souls.

Delmak

After the creation of Celestis, the Parti created Delmak. The mortal plain, the world as we know it. And they created beasts and vegetation in all its forms and placed them on Delmak. Then they created humanity, and placed them on Delmak to rule over their creation.

Netu

The underworld,

Lateo Parti

The Lateo Patri, better known as 'The Lost', are divine beings who have strayed from the ways of the Parti, strayed from Celestis. They do not deserve to be worshipped, but they are not by definition evil.

Known Lateo Parti

The Diam Mark

The Diam Mark is a mark on the shoulder of the faithful. It represent great devotion to the Patri and bears status to those who receive them.
During a Rite of Passage, a ceremony preformed by only the most pious and skilled priests, known as 'Attulimus Dei', a Diciplus of the Omnis Patri receives the Diam Mark on the right shoulder. The right shoulder is chosen because that is the arm in which a man wields his sword. Meaning that his sword and alligiance is to no other than the Patri. And anyone who bears the Diam Mark, an image of the Sanctus Diam ingraved with ink, on the right shoulder may call himself a Patrum Bellator, a warior of the Patri.

The Second Mark

Only the most patriotic, honourable and devoted nobles who serve the Patri with dignity and loyalty will ever withness a second Attulimus Dei. Because it bestows the highest, most prestigious and most pious status a knight can receive within the Patrum Church, the rank of Patrum Miles. The ceremony may only be preformed by an Elder of the Church, and ingraves the second Diam Mark now on the left shoulder. The arm in which a man wields his shield and stands for his devotion to protect the faith and faithful.

Applying the Mark

Mostly a clerk of the priest who preforms the ceremony prepare the mixure of ink. The bark of acacia pine wood, corroded bronze, gall and vitriol are mixed well and sifted. He grinds the corroded bronze with vinegar and mixes it with the other ingredients to make a powder of it. He soaks the powder in two parts of water and one part of leek juice and which he again mixes thoroughly.
The priest first wash the place to be tattooed with leek juice and then pricks in the design of the Sanctus Diam with pointed needles until blood is drawn. Then the ink is rubbed in to make the holy mark eternal.
