While a knight, Maliki tried his hand at being a sabatour, but was captured by Siron on his first attempt to rob a tax office. After being banned from Siron, he rose to become the Count of Bruck. Maliki was soon captured again by Siron and deported to the Colonies. As soon as he possibly could, he returned to East Continent and rejoined Westmoor.
