Marcil
Marcil was the only son, born out wedlock, by Shassala daughter of the merchant Surikos of Ibladesh City. A trader contact, Gwaelor Thunthorn, from the far north seduced and dishonored his mother, causing her to be exiled to her fathers country house in Oc Lu Pesh where Marcil was born and lived out his early days.
When Shassala was killed during a monster rampage Marcil took up arms and started to hunt down monsters, particularly obsessed by finding the fabled Snaargh which he thought was responsible for his family's misfortune. He was travelling as an adventurer after that killing monsters and undead but never catching up with the Snaargh.
